What this site knows about you, in plain words. The short answer is: very little.
This site carries no advertising, no tracking scripts and no analytics from other companies, and it sets no cookies when you visit. We only hold personal information that you choose to send us, and we do not sell it or share it with anyone.
Like every website, the server that hosts this site keeps a log of requests: the address your device connects from (its IP address), the time, the page asked for, the name of your browser and the page you came from. Our hosting provider keeps these logs for a few days.
From those logs we keep daily totals only: how many people visited, which pages were read and which sites sent visitors. The totals contain no addresses and nothing that identifies you.
If you use the contact form, we receive the name, email address, subject and message you enter. The message is emailed to us and a copy is stored privately on the server so that nothing gets lost. We use it to answer you and for nothing else, and we do not pass it on.
To stop the form being abused, a scrambled fingerprint of the sender's address, which cannot be turned back into the address, is kept for up to one hour.
Two small preferences are saved in your own browser, not on our server: whether you chose the light or the dark look, and whether you closed an announcement. They are never sent to us. The cookies page has the details.
Fonts, scripts and images are served from this site itself, so opening a page does not contact anyone else.
The one exception is an embedded video. Where a page shows a YouTube or Vimeo player, that company receives your address when the player loads and may set its own cookies when you press play. We use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode and Vimeo's do-not-track setting to keep this to a minimum.
TRG Media Group operates from the United States. If you write to us from another country, your message is read and answered from the United States.
This site is meant for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, tell us and we will delete it.
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to us through the contact page and we will answer as soon as we can.
If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.
